Please join us in congratulating our 17U and 15U Mavericks!!!
Another successful weekend for the East Coast Mavericks Volleyball Club, with our 15U Female team capturing silver in Fredericton and our 17U Female team earning a tied-for-third finish in Moncton!
15U FEMALE | SILVER MEDAL
Competing at the Reds Regulators tournament, the 15U Mavericks finished second in their pool with a 2–1 record before sweeping Spartans Valour in the semifinals.
The championship match saw the Mavericks face Kaboom Navy U15 in a hard-fought three-set battle. After taking the opening set 25–23, the ladies came up just short, falling 19–25 and 14–16 to secure their second consecutive silver medal.
17U FEMALE | TIED FOR THIRD
In Moncton, our 17U Mavericks competed at the Cyclones tournament, finishing second in their pool with a 4–2 set record.
Their performance earned them a spot in the semifinals against Cyclones Arctic 17. The Mavericks fell in straight sets, finishing tied for third overall.
Congratulations to both teams and their coaching staff on a weekend of competitive volleyball. With the season still in its early stages, we're looking forward to seeing these ladies continue to develop and build on their success.
